Finding Conditions to Process Hydrate Crystals and Amorphous Solids of Disodium Guanosine 5′‐Monophosphate by an Antisolvent Crystallization Process

A screening of amorphous, heptahydrate, and tetrahydrate forms disodium guanosine 5′-monophosphate is investigated using an antisolvent crystallization process with the aim to selectively produce each solid form. The concentrations solution are monitored by in situ Raman spectroscopy a calibration tool. Particle sizes particle counts measured elapsed time focal beam reflection measurement. Concentrations amorphous hydrates phases determined in-line measurement techniques. variables studied temperature, initial concentration, addition rate, solvent fraction. results demonstrate that transformation from hydrate consists four stages, which nucleation form, predissolution crystal dissolution solid, growth crystal. rate-controlling step, this case, Transformation between heptahydrate crystals nucleation-growth-controlled step. It possible obtain referring supersaturation solubility data.
